The Global Infrastructure Hub will unite with APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) to exchange key knowledge and help countries to unlock private investment to finance much needed public infrastructure.
The collaboration was announced at the 2016 APEC Finance Ministers’ Meeting in Lima, Peru on October 15.
A collaboration action plan developed between the GI Hub and APEC was endorsed by Ministers at the meeting.
The action plan opens up the potential for APEC’s 21 member countries and the Hub to work together for effective outcomes in promoting infrastructure investment policy.
