The Global Infrastructure Hub has signed a MoU with the Global Infrastructure Connectivity Alliance (GICA).
GICA, which was launched by the G20, aims to enhance cooperation and synergies of existing and future global infrastructure and trade facilitation programs seeking to improve connectivity within, between and among countries.
GICA has recently developed its annual workplan and main activities are expected to include mapping of connectivity initiatives around the world, developing an overview of mega trends on global connectivity, assessing global connectivity performance, and sharing of good practice on connectivity.
Through this MoU GI Hub and GICA have expressed interest in working together on these goals and activities.
The GI Hub was established by the G20 to help unlock trillions of dollars in private investment to fund much needed public infrastructure.
