Speaking at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Public Private Partnerships Experts’ Advisory Panel and Senior Finance Officials Meeting in Peru, the Global Infrastructure Hub welcomed greater collaboration with APEC members and opportunities to increase the coordination and effectiveness of infrastructure work programs through knowledge sharing and consultation. Connecting global infrastructure practitioners to share practices, disseminate knowledge and improve capacity would strengthen infrastructure systems globally.
The Global Infrastructure Hub agreed to share its tools and resources with all APEC economies and outlined how APEC members could become early adopters of its online tools and resources, including the Hub’s global knowledge platform, global pipeline of investment-ready infrastructure projects and guidance on leading practices. Following the session, there was broad support from APEC members for continued cooperation and coordination between the Hub and APEC.
