GI Hub Chief Executive Officer Chris Heathcote addressed the Business Council for International Understanding at a lunch hosted by Australia’s Ambassador to the US Joe Hockey in Washington DC recently.
Mr Heathcote spoke of infrastructure as a game changer for sparking economic growth, and also told the gathering of the importance of creating infrastructure that was purposeful and accepted by communities.
“We get into trouble when we do infrastructure to people and not for or with them,” he told the audience at the lunch held on April 18.
