Indonesian Ministry of Finance officials visiting Australia met with the GI Hub in Sydney today for discussions on infrastructure.
The discussions focused on infrastructure project opportunities in Indonesia, including possible risk allocation arrangements for those projects; how to attract institutional lenders, including international pension funds, to invest in Indonesian projects; and the use of asset recycling programs, including examples of asset recycling initiatives taken by governments in Australia and Mexico.
GI Hub Chief Executive Officer Chris Heathcote also raised with the officials the opportunity for Indonesia to list its infrastructure projects on the Hub’s Project Pipeline, an online interactive global list of projects due to be launched soon.
