The Global Infrastructure Hub participated in the inaugural Infrastructure Investors Forum Australia held in Sydney on 17 August, 2016.
The GI Hub’s Senior Director, Mark Moseley, moderated a panel for the session on “The global view: Investment outlook for 2016 and beyond”, which included leading international investors and advisers.
Mark began the session by outlining the mandates which the G20 has given to the GI Hub, and the current activities which the Hub is undertaking to carry out those mandates. Mark and the panel members then discussed the global outlook for infrastructure investments, and the associated challenges and opportunities. This was followed by a lively question and answer exchange with the audience, consisting of about 180 representatives from Australia’s infrastructure investment community.
