Today the GI Hub announces that Marie Lam-Frendo will step down from her role as GI Hub CEO as her term concludes.
Marie joined the GI Hub five years ago, and immediately led an organisational transformation that saw the GI Hub’s work increasingly recognised at the G20 and valued across the infrastructure ecosystem, and that led to an award for workplace culture transformation. Her vision and leadership enabled the GI Hub to be a leading voice in advocating for infrastructure as a means to transform societies and empower future generations.
As Marie nears the conclusion of her contract, she will step down as CEO in early December 2023. Leadership of the GI Hub passes to Chief Operations Officer Srima McQuillan as Acting CEO and Chief Content Officer Henri Blas.
Leading the GI Hub has been a rich experience, presenting tremendous opportunities to advance infrastructure data, policy, and knowledge for the public good while advocating for necessary reforms in our industry at the G20 and beyond. I am incredibly proud of the work that we delivered … Together, we pushed the needle of private sector participation in infrastructure while honing the focus on sustainability, inclusivity, and resilience.” – Marie Lam-Frendo
