Our CEO's contribution to ‘G20 India: The New Delhi Summit’

To coincide with the New Delhi G20 Leaders’ Summit on September 9-10, Our CEO Marie Lam-Frendo contributed an article to the G20 India: The 2023 New Delhi Summit publication that was distributed to policymakers, delegates, and journalists attending the summit, as well as to a global online audience.

Marie’s article, ‘2024: Infrastructure’s Next Transformation,’ was published alongside articles by G20 leaders, guest leaders, heads of international organisations, and other experts key to the G20 agenda. In the article, Marie reflects on the work of the GI Hub, and the importance of increased public and private investment in the sustainable infrastructure transition to increase economic, social, and environmental outcomes.

Marie stresses that to attract private capital and position themselves for a sustainable future, governments must learn from each other’s infrastructure investment strategies, collectively remove barriers to private sector participation, drive the infrastructure transition, and embrace infrastructure standards and taxonomies.
