The Global Infrastructure Hub is negotiating new, long-term partner hosting of its activities to deliver enduring impact.
Since our formation in 2014, the GI Hub has served as the G20’s infrastructure entity under a mandate of advancing sustainable, inclusive, and resilient infrastructure.
Our work provides insights and data on the state of sustainable infrastructure today, and helps better it for tomorrow. Working in partnership with the G20 and other governments, multilateral institutions, international organisations, the private sector, and academia we have created a body of work that helps infrastructure be used as a force for good for people and the planet.
Most recently, we have collated major new data on private and public investment in infrastructure, developed insights on the net-zero climate transition pathways for infrastructure, continued propelling the adoption of infrastructure technology (InfraTech), and launched a course on inclusive infrastructure practices to enhance social equity.
Now, we are evolving. The move to partnership-based hosting of our core portfolio of activities continues our strategy of collaboration, and our commitment to achieve more through complementary work with the infrastructure ecosystem.
Watch this space as we share more about this transition in the coming weeks.
