Aim(s) of the project - why was the project initiated
- To qualify the whole concept in a small scale,
- To generate developing abilities within the CNEA, its associate companies and the private industry in Argentina (suppliers development),
- To repeat the success obtained with the Research Reactor exportation,
- To become a worldwide referent of the new generation of nuclear reactors,
- To commercially operate Argentinian nuclear power planta.

The procurement and construction began on 2014 and will finish on 2024. The operation will begin on 2015 and the lifetime should be 60 traes.

Metrics
All the advances of the Project are reported monthly to the government through several numeric indicators. In a quarterly basis the ARN (Nuclear Regulatory Board of Argentina) receives a complete report in order to audit the Project.
