National Framework for Traditional Contracting

The National Framework for Traditional Contracting provides a best practice framework and commercial principles for delivering infrastructure through public procurement. It is intended for procuring authorities for project delivery, and central government departments when designing intra-jurisdictional guidelines and policies. The Framework comprises five documents:; The Guide: Good Practice and Commercial Principles for Traditional Contracting; Guide 1: Project Definition and Tendering; Guide 2: Development of Project Budgets in Business Cases;Guide 3: Governance and contract management ; Guide 4: Performance and continuous improvement.
