The Organizational Project Management Capacity Assessment Tool is a forward-looking assessment of an organisation s capacity to manage and deliver the planned portfolio of projects identified in its departmental investment plan over a minimum five-year horizon. It rates the organisational capacity to manage projects across five scoring classifications by evaluating criteria in each of the following project knowledge areas: organisational integration, core project management, supporting project management. To reflect the relative importance of one knowledge area versus another, relative weightings have been defined for each assessment category.
